The short version
- We collect what is needed to run framewed: your account details, what your studio puts in, and basic technical logs.
- When a studio adds its clients' or crew's details, the studio decides what is collected and why, and is responsible for having their permission. framewed stores and processes that data for the studio.
- We don't sell personal data and don't show ads. We may use and share statistics that identify no one.
- We share data only with the services that make framewed work (like the SMS gateway), or when the law requires.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data.
1. Who we are
framewed ("we", "us") provides studio-management software and public portfolio pages at framewed.com, operated from Bangladesh. This policy explains how we handle personal data, in line with the laws of Bangladesh, including the Personal Data Protection Ordinance, 2025. Questions: legal@framewed.com.
2. Two roles: ours and the studio's
For your own account — your name, phone, email and how you use framewed — we decide how the data is used and are responsible for it.
For information a studio puts into framewed about other people — its clients, crew, enquiries and people in its photos — the studio decides what is collected and why, and is responsible for having a lawful reason and any consent needed, and for answering those people's requests. framewed processes that data only to provide the Service to the studio, as set out in our Terms. If you are a studio's client or crew member and want your data seen, corrected or deleted, contact the studio first; we will help where we can.
3. What we collect
You give us
- Account details: name, mobile number, email, password (stored only in scrambled, one-way form), and the studios you belong to.
- Studio details: studio name, logo, signature, contact details, payment details you choose to show on invoices, settings.
- Studio content: clients' names and contact details, events, venues, invoices and payment records, crew bookings, deliveries and their links, portfolio photos and captions, packages and prices.
- Payments to framewed: the SMS pack, amount, the number you paid from, and the transaction ID.
- Enquiries: when someone sends an enquiry from a studio's page — their name, mobile, email if given, event date, place and message. This goes to that studio.
Collected automatically
- Technical logs: IP address, time, and actions such as signing in, changes to records and texts sent — used for security, preventing abuse, and records of what happened.
- Acceptance records: the version of our Terms and this policy you agreed to, when, and your IP address.
- Cookies and device storage: one essential cookie keeps you signed in. The app also stores small settings on your device — for example, that you have seen the guided tour. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Why we use it
- To provide the Service: accounts, invoices, crew booking, delivery links, portfolio and package pages, enquiries, and the texts you ask us to send.
- To keep it secure: preventing fraud, spam and misuse, investigating problems, and enforcing our Terms.
- To handle billing: verifying payments and managing SMS credit.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and changes to the Service, and — unless you opt out — about framewed's own news and offers.
- To meet legal duties and respond to lawful requests.
- To improve framewed, using information about how features are used.
We rely on your agreement to our Terms, on what is needed to provide the Service you asked for, on our legitimate interests in running a safe service, on consent where it is needed, and on legal obligations.
5. What is public
A studio's portfolio page (at framewed.com/p/…) and the framewed studio directory are public and may appear in search engines. They show what the studio chose to publish: its name, city, contact details, photos, captions and packages. Studios can hide their page at any time. Invoice and delivery links are private but can be opened by anyone who has the link, so share them only with the people they are meant for.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
- With service providers that make framewed work, and only as they need: our hosting provider (where data and files are stored), SMS gateways (the phone number and text of messages being sent), and YouTube (when you play music, YouTube's player loads from YouTube). These providers have their own privacy policies.
- Within a studio: team members see studio data according to their role. Crew see the details of jobs they are booked for, such as the venue and the lead's number.
- With the public: only what a studio publishes on its public page.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, court order or a lawful request from authorities, or to protect the rights, safety and property of framewed, our users or others.
- If framewed changes hands: as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation, under this policy.
Statistics that identify no one. We may combine information from across framewed into aggregated or de-identified statistics — for example average package prices by city — that cannot identify any person or studio, and use, publish or share them.
7. Where it is stored
framewed's data and files are stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. Photos are compressed and stored in private storage and shown through framewed. We take the steps required by law where data is stored or processed outside Bangladesh.
8. How long we keep it
We keep account and studio data for as long as the account is active. After an account or studio is closed, we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, security or dispute purposes. Security logs and payment records are kept for as long as needed for those purposes. Copies in backups are removed as backups are replaced.
9. How we protect it
Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are stored in one-way scrambled form. Access to studio data is limited by account and role, sign-in attempts and sensitive actions are rate-limited, and uploaded files are checked and kept outside the public website. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
10. Your rights
Subject to the law, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, withdraw consent you gave, or object to certain uses. Write to legal@framewed.com from the phone number or email on your account, or tell us how to verify you. We will respond within the time the law allows. Some data we may need to keep, as explained above. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the data protection authority in Bangladesh.
11. Children
framewed is for adults running or working for studios. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their account data. Studios who publish photos of children must have a parent's or guardian's permission.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, ask you to accept it in the app.
